Big Erl's Beard Butter is one man's dream melted down and bottled... Ok, it's not actually that serious. I was just looking for a beard butter that wasn't too waxy and was made with ingredients I could pronounce. After doing some research, I blended some very waxy beard balm with some oils and found I had a much more workable product. But I didn't stop there. I wanted it to be something of my own creation. Some more research, ingredients, a hot plate, a dollar store mug,  and a scent idea I had during a conversation with a friend, and the first ever version of what is now BIG EARL'S "Cool Mitch" Beard Balm was crafted. While version 1.0 was ok, it was a little too oily. Some more attempts and I created a product that was firm in the jar but melted very easily in your hands.  Soon to follow was the "Irish Pickler" scent and some product trials. I gave out a whole bunch of samples and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive! Both scents are very refreshing, so much so that I have had a few requests for something non-bearded folk could use.
